I just watched My Bloody Valentine.....
My first thought was "geez Blood um yes..." There are buckets of blood and typically
I dont care much for that. I prefer the *jump in your seat* horror, you know that kind
that makes your knuckles white? But, as you may have guessed, I tuned in specifically
to see my favorite shifter.
So...first thoughts, "Blood [007] ", second thoughts.... [020] yeah yeah..I had the
[031] "geez hes hot" reaction - those shoulders, good lord.... Yes I drooled over his
shoulders, its all he gives us....then it occurred to me why: The boy can act. Dont get
me wrong, it was an Oscar worthy script or anything but Jensen has real talent and
even in this cheesy but fun 3D, he stood out.
I didnt know the storyline, not having seen the original, and I dont want to ruin it for
anyone who hasnt seen it - not that I expect anyone to read this - but I enjoyed what
he brought to the movie.
I've always thought he was the best part of Supernatural - that boy can make me cry
like a baby - but for whatever reason, he gets overlooked there. Maybe....just maybe,
some producer or director somewhere will see this and take a hard look at what he is
capable of - I hope so.....
I don't mind the bloody scenes and I think the bloody scenes in MBV were very well done. Great special effects and with the 3D technology, it was all amazing.
And when I first saw Jensen in 3D, it was overwhelming. I wanted more, more, more. [004][015] And of course he can act, he doesn't need to show off his body to attract attention, he has other ways to do that. And I find it amazing, really. But I wouldn't mind a nude scene with Jensen AT ALL. [078][032]
And I agree, I WANT to see him in films more. [018]

Yes lots of blood, which I didn’t mind, for some reason I like seeing some gore on occasion ;-). And I was expecting a lot of that. Though like you I also prefer the "Jump in your seat white knuckled" horror films. Can never get enough of that.
I thought the movie was alright. I didn’t see the original so Im not sure how the plot differed, though I have been told its changed quite a bit. I wasn’t a fan of that whole 10 minute nude scene either, could have done without that one. And there were a few parts where I was just like “really? You had to do that?” but over all it was fairly good.
Loved seeing Jensen in it! And he is an amazing actor! Not too many actors can get me to cry during a tv show or a movie but he does a great job! And has gotten me to do so… Hes got loads of talent and I really hope someone catches onto that one of these days! I’d love for him to make a huge name for himself. if he really wants that to happen anyway, he does deserve it, hes definitely done a great job in everything hes been in no matter what the writing is like.
And yea I know this part isn’t about his talents, but I have to share. My friend went to go see the movie, and I got a text while she was in the middle of watching it from her saying “OMG Jensen is sexy as hell!” which I found hilarious cuz i later found out it took her about 20 mins to realize why shes seen him before.
Yes, the original was different but I liked both versions and I think the new version with Jensen came up with good twists. I think it's good when a remake doesn't copy the original 100%.
I didn't mind the nude scene because I think you don't really think about putting some clothes on when a maniacal killer is behind you. [004]
I agree. Jensen doesn't get the recognition he should. It reminds me that I should ask if I can create my Jensen Ackles thread here. People from CW might know what I'm talking about.
